What was new in 2000 in the Revelation Pages?

by Douglas Brown
Drama Co-ordinator & web site admin

27th November 2000

I've finally done it !!!
The Christian Jokes page is now reorganised for
  • ease of use & navigation;
  • speed of download.
We're well on the way to creating the best collection of Christian jokes ever. Have a look & see if you agree.

7th November 2000

I really can't believe that so much time has passed since the last update.
First, a warm welcome to all the brothers & sisters in Christ who joined our mailing list during the hiatus. Revelation is alive & well, and is back on the road, fighting the darkness once more, through music and drama.
Now here's a quick summary of all that has happened:
  • Revelation completed the second tour of Burning Questions late in 1999.
  • On 1st April 2000, Revelation provided local support for Roger Jones' tour of Snakes & Ladders, his new show.
  • Other than that, we took a 9 month rest while various members got involved with their local churches in at least three separate productions of Hopes & Dreams.
  • Hopes & Dreams has been a major event up & down the UK. The country may never be the same (we pray!).
  • If you haven't managed to see it yet, there may still be a few final productions yet to run. Ask around. You won't regret it.
  • Special thanks to all those members who helped Douglas produce the Yateley show. It was much appreciated lads (& lasses), and it is still being talked about 7 months later. Well done.
  • Revelation is now back together, although certain members are still a bit shell-shocked from their exertions in Hopes & Dreams.
  • Our current show is "Torn Curtain". The music is by Roger Jones, but Revelation have written their own drama script for it.
  • We have already presented it to St Georges, a Church of England Girls School near Ascot.
  • The next presentation is on 12th November 2000 at St Martins Church, Chavey Down (near Bracknell).
  • There are no firm plans for 2001 yet, but when there are, they'll appear on this web site.
