Come and join us!Revelation is seeking more members in all groups. So whether you want to sing, dance or act, there's a welcome waiting for you and your talent.
The Music Group.We have a membership list of around fifty members. At each presentation, we field between twenty to forty singers. More singers are always welome; the more we have, the more we can lift the roof to make a really powerful presentation. New singers for all parts are welcome. As is usual with choirs we would especially appreciate more altos and men (basses and tenors) joining us, but new sopranos are welcome too.We have a very small instrumental group; the core group currently comprises a keyboard player and flautist. Other instrumentlists have included another flautist, an oboe player, and a guitarist. Jacki, our Music Co-ordinator, has been known to play the viola occasionally. If you play an instrument confidently and can sight-read, then Jacki would like to hear from you. See also the Music Group page.
The Dance Group.Revelation is very keen to set up a permanent dance group, having had some success with past presentations involving dance.We therefore need a Dance Group Co-ordinator. We are flexible as to what this means. If you have a talent for dance & choreography, we would love you to set up, recruit and lead a group of dancers. However, if you wish to have a more quiet behind-the-scenes role, then that would be welcome too. We are looking for an adult who worships the Lord, and has good dance experience. Why not join Revelation and do both at once?! Just contact anyone here. Revelation would also like to attract more dancers. Originally we relied on children of members (and their friends); but they have gwon up and moved on. We have also had occasional help from a dance group based at St Peter's church in Yateley (for which, grateful thanks, ladies!). We would now like to recruit members with dancing skills to form a permanent dance group within Revelation. The Drama Group.The drama group are always keen for new members to join. We always need more actors and actresses of all ages, and another member with directing experience would be much appreciated! What does it cost?Since in April 1999 there has been an annual membersip subscription fee of £5 (pounds, sterling). This charge is unfortunately necessary to cover Revelation's growing copying and postage costs.Also, we do occasionally ask members to share the cost of a production by purchasing their own librettos or scripts (bulk discounts often apply). Costs vary, but £5 to £10 per book is typical. These costs apply to all adult members, except for
