DANCE

Welcome to the Revelation Dance Group's Page.

Revelation has given two presentations, so far, which included dance as an integral part of the show : "Saints Alive" and "Jairus' Daughter". Other shows (eg "Burning Questions") have featured a dance or two for variety.

We have presented "Saints Alive" in two separate seasons, and in both, the dances were performed by junior members of Trinity Church, Yateley, and led by Sarah Towers of nearby St. Swithuns Church. We were very lucky to be able to perform with Sarah, as she left to attend university.

For "Jairus' Daughter" we were grateful to be able to call on the services of the Dance Worship Group of St. Peters Church, Yateley, who choreographed and led a mixed dance group of adults and children.

"Simeon", presented in December 1998 to February 1999, had one dance in it, provided by members of the cast with dance experience. Similarly "Burning Questions" featured one dance, originally danced by Sheila Hill, but later replaced by Sarah Clarke (returned from university, and now married).

All our presentations featuring dance have been very popular. Dancers add an exciting dimension to a presentation which would otherwise seem a bit static. Revelation would obviously like do more presentations with dancers by forming a permanent dance group, led by its own Dance Co-ordinator. Please see our "recruitment" page for further details.
